and Compliance Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responsibilities:<br \/>\nCompliance:<br \/>\nReview all relevant statutory laws and regulations applicable to the Company and ensure compliance with these<br \/>\nEnsure that business activities are conducted in conformity with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies,and procedures.<br \/>\nEnsure that all regulatory permissions remain current and appropriate for business needs.<br \/>\nContinual compliance risk assessment of company practices together with the development of internal policies and procedures, compliance training, and protocols.<br \/>\nServe as liaison for all regulatory bodies as well as maintaining relationships with relevant legal bodies and trade associations.<br \/>\nKeep abreast of regulatory developments and industry initiatives and advise management accordingly.<br \/>\nLiaise with third parties, together with the company\u2019s management, that wish to understand the company\u2019s control environment, compliance policies and procedures.<br \/>\nProvide reporting with respect to regulatory requirements and developments<br \/>\nDevelop compliance checklists and prepare compliance reports, as and when due<br \/>\nInform the Internal Audit unit of any findings as regards non-compliance that may require investigation<br \/>\nEnsuring compliance with best practices<br \/>\nParticipate in Business Process Re-engineering exercises to ensure controls therein<br \/>\nCarry out review of SLA Manuals to ensure applicable regulatory laws are incorporated.<br \/>\nLegal:<br \/>\nPreparation of compliance documentation with relevant constitutive documents for statutory, legal, regulatory purposes.<br \/>\nLiaison with all the subsidiaries within the Company\u2019s Group, service providers, external legal advisers, and government agencies.<br \/>\nMaintenance and review of Legal Agreements<br \/>\nDeveloping and overseeing that the company meets its compliance obligations under relevant laws and the requirements of regulatory authorities<br \/>\nNegotiation, drafting and implementation of the terms of agreements in all business contracts and agreements.<br \/>\nResponsible for providing legal support in controlling customer complaints to mitigate the risk of litigation<br \/>\nReview all documentation that has legal implications for the company prior to signing and implementing.<br \/>\nQualifications:<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in Law.<br \/>\nLLM (an advantage)<br \/>\nA minimum of 3 years of working experience with a reputable law firm.<br \/>\nI.T knowledge (particularly in Excel and Word)<br \/>\nHigh level of determination and tenacity<br \/>\nGood understanding of Compliance activities in Healthcare Services.<br \/>\nExperience in developing and managing compliance monitoring programs.<br \/>\nArticulate, effective communication skills with the ability to communicate internally and externally (lawyers, regulators, auditors) at all
