The Chauffeur is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and high-quality transportation services to hotel guests, executives, and VIP clients.
\nThe role ensures a premium travel experience by maintaining professionalism, discretion, punctuality, and exceptional customer service in line with luxury hospitality standards.
\nThe ideal candidate must be courteous, well-presented, and experienced in professional driving with a strong understanding of safety and guest service etiquette.
\nRole Responsibilities
\nGuest Transportation Services:<\/p>\n
Provide safe and comfortable transportation for guests to and from designated locations.
\nMeet and greet guests professionally upon arrival and assist with luggage where necessary.
\nEnsure timely pick-up and drop-off in line with scheduled arrangements.
\nDeliver a smooth and pleasant travel experience for all passengers.
\nVIP and Executive Service:<\/p>\n
Provide premium transportation services to VIPs, executives, and special guests.
\nMaintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
\nAnticipate guest needs and provide personalized assistance where required.
\nVehicle Maintenance and Care:<\/p>\n
Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition at all times.
\nConduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel level, tires, engine condition, cleanliness).
\nReport mechanical issues promptly and coordinate repairs.
\nEnsure vehicles are serviced regularly according to maintenance schedules.
\nSafety and Compliance:<\/p>\n
Adhere strictly to traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
\nPractice defensive driving and ensure passenger safety at all times.
\nMaintain valid driver\u2019s license and required documentation.
\nEnsure all vehicle documents are up to date and compliant with regulations.
\nRoute Planning and Navigation:<\/p>\n
Plan routes effectively to avoid delays and ensure timely arrivals.
\nStay informed about traffic conditions, road closures, and alternative routes.
\nUse navigation tools where necessary for efficiency.
\nProfessional Conduct and Presentation:<\/p>\n
Maintain a neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance.
\nDemonstrate courteous behavior, respect, and excellent communication skills.
\nUphold the hotel\u2019s reputation through professional conduct at all times.
\nDocumentation and Reporting:<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and schedules.
\nReport incidents, delays, or accidents promptly.
\nKeep logs of vehicle usage and maintenance activities.
\nSupport Duties:<\/p>\n
Assist with guest luggage and concierge-related support where required.
\nSupport airport transfers, hotel errands, and official assignments.
\nPerform additional duties as assigned by management.
\nQualification \/\u00a0Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification
\nValid driver\u2019s license with a clean driving record
\nMinimum of 3\u20135 years experience as a professional driver or chauffeur, preferably in a hotel or corporate environment.
\nDefensive driving certification is an added advantage
\nKnowledge of luxury service etiquette is an added advantage.
