Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Conduct daily Control Room operations with the utmost integrity and efficiency.
\nManage the main switchboard, answering all incoming calls courteously and promptly directing them to the appropriate departments.
\nMonitor and track the positions of all company vessels daily using Marine Traffic, AIS (Automatic Identification System), SSAS, and Falcon Mega Track.
\nEnsure the timely submission of vessels’ Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
\nReview DPRs for accuracy, flag any inconsistencies or errors for correction, and log the consumption of fuel, lube\/hydraulic oil, food, and water.
\nTabulate daily consumption figures to verify the vessel’s Remaining on Board (ROB) metrics upon arrival at the Jetty, with final checks conducted at the end of each month.
\nReview sailing reports for vessels on assignment, log them in the record book, and verify the accuracy of information with Marine Traffic and EFMS (coordinates).
\nGenerate sailing reports from Marine Traffic and EFMS during SAT mail downtime and forward them to Operations for client follow-up.
\nMonitor the performance of security systems (FMT-SSAS, AIS, EFMS, and CCTV) daily, and report any deficiencies to the Head of Security.
\nDownload and review CCTV footage from vessels monthly, reporting any unusual activity to the Head of Security.
\nPrepare and send daily situation reports of the head office to the Head of Security, with copies to the Security and Operations departments.
\nMonitor vessel movements and positions offshore, especially in the event of satellite mail system failures.
\nPromptly perform and document monthly FMT-SSAS checks, maintaining accurate records of all communications, and prepare FMT-SSAS Checks Reports for the Head of Security.
\nSend weekly and monthly reports on vessel activities to the Head of Security.
\nReceive notifications of cybersecurity incidents, emergencies, and issues from all vessels and the Head Office, and relay them to the appropriate leadership positions.
\nConduct regular training sessions for all staff to maintain awareness of cybersecurity information, threats, and prevention methods.
\nConduct spontaneous checks on departments to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies.
\nRequirement:<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other IT related discipline
\nMinimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in similar role
