Summary<\/p>\n
Generator Mechanic is responsible for the mechanical installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generators ranging from 20kVA or higher, ensures reliable generator performance, fuel efficiency, and minimal downtime.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Service diesel generators (20kVA\u2013500kVA) in line with OEM standards.
\nCarry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance.
\nDiagnose and repair mechanical faults on diesel engines.
\nService fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, and exhaust systems.
\nOverhaul engines, replace worn components, and carry out alignments.
\nSupport load testing and commissioning activities.
\nMaintain accurate service records and job reports.
\nComply with HSE standards and company safety procedures.
\nRespond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
\nRequirements<\/p>\n
Trade Test Certificate, OND, or Technical College qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or professional certification is an advantage.
\nMinimum 3 years\u2019 hands-on experience with diesel generators (20kVA\u2013500kVA).
\nExperience with engines such as Perkins, Cummins, MTU, or similar
