The Store Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Dukes Neurosurgery and Specialist Hospital in Lagos.<\/p>\n
The role involves managing the hospital\u2019s store operations, including receiving, labeling, and organizing medical supplies, consumables, and equipment.<\/p>\n
The Store Officer will maintain accurate stock records, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely replenishment to support uninterrupted clinical and administrative operations.<\/p>\n
Day-to-day tasks include preparing and processing purchase requests, tracking deliveries, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling physical stock with system records.<\/p>\n
The role also requires collaborating with procurement, finance, and clinical departments to ensure compliance with hospital policies, cost efficiency, and proper storage conditions for sensitive items.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n

Candidates should possess strong Stock Control and Stock Management skills for tracking, recording, and organizing medical supplies.<\/p>\n
Candidates should possess experience with Inventory Control and Inventory Management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.<\/p>\n
Candidates should possess competency in handling Purchase Orders and related documentation to support timely and accurate procurement.<\/p>\n
Candidates should possess good numerical, data entry, and basic computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, inventory software).<\/p>\n
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.<\/p>\n
Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with clinical, procurement, and finance teams.<\/p>\n
Relevant experience in storekeeping, supply chain, or inventory roles, preferably in healthcare or a similar regulated environment, is beneficial.<\/p>\n
