Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Prepare proposals.
\nDevelop audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
\nConduct assigned task on audit engagements successfully from start to finish
\nIdentify key risks to business objectives, evaluating and testing controls in place and identifying areas for improvement.
\nTimely completion of audit files and assignments, ensuring\u00a0\u00a0work\u00a0is produced to the required standard and deadlines.
\nEnsure the basic documents for signoff are ready on completion of assigned engagement (Final signoff, Audit Summary and Representation letters).
\nEnsure audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances and risk.
\nProduce audit reports at the conclusion of assigned engagements, to meet the required standard for reporting.
\nReview the work of Audit Associates and provide on-the-job training and feedback to engagement team members.
\nCarry out other duties assigned.
\nMinimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any relevant field with a minimum of second class upper or upper credit.
\nMember of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or its equivalent.
\nMinimum of two (4) years post qualification experience in related field
\nRequired Competencies:<\/p>\n
Communication skills (including oral, written, report writing and presentation).
\nProblem identification and solution skills (including core, conceptual, and analytical thinking).
\nKeeping up to date with industry and regulatory changes and professional standards.
\nStrong commitment and proven record of professional and client service excellence.
\nAnalytical and enquiring mind with the ability to interpret key data.
\nGood IT skills, competent user of Microsoft Office and IT applications.
\nAbility to manage multiple priorities.
\nChange management skills.
