Job Description

·         Handle clients policy renewals

·         Design and implement effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance contracts or adjust existing ones

·         Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc

·         Appraise the wishes and demands of business or individual customers and sell the suitable protection plans

·         Collect information from clients on their risk profiles in order to offer them the proper solution

·         Prepare reports to team lead on the success of your business endeavour

·         Retain continuous awareness of transactions, sales and terms and keep relative records

·         Check insurance claims to solidify trust and safeguard the reputation

·         Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.

·         Call potential clients to expand their customer base

·         Analyze clients’ current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes

·         Maintain electronic and paper records

·         Plan performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.

Requirements

·         Must have relevant degree

·         Must have 2-5 years’ experience in the insurance industry

·         Minimum Qualification: HND

·         Experience Level: Entry level

·         Experience Length: 2 years

·         Minimum of first degree in Insurance or other relevant fields.

·         Strong client relationship management and development aptitude.

·         Solid interpersonal/presentation skills.

·         Proficient in English communication, Prospecting, Analysis skills.

·         Must be self-motivated, ready to achieve, hungry to change status and build own network in selling insurance to family, contacts, and network.

·         Proven ability to work independently.

·         High level of emotional intelligence.
